A lover of chai, markets, dogs, and donuts. Not in that specific order. Most of all a lover of the beauty found in design, textiles, fashion, and a powerful print. If I have one hope in life it is to leave this world just a little prettier than before I joined it.
Is there anything better than watching someone open a gift that they love? I believe in the power of the perfect gift. Finding a special something for a special someone should be intentional and curated. I feel the same way in my career. Every license or archive I work with, and every product I develop, should have the most unique and elegant execution. Every item or application should honor the brand and bring joy to its new owner.
I love to meet new designers and makers, discussing their process, and brainstorming new licensed categories to expand their brand.
I treasure our mother earth, so why should we spend money and time on products that don't bring us joy or improve our quality of life? My own mother taught me to "buy once and buy well". My hope is that I can bring products into this world that are worthy of this legacy.
